Disney Christmas Tree Decorating Ideas
Aloha from Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii! Since we are here during the month of December, we are in love with all of the Christmas Disney decor this beautiful hotel has everywhere. We think it would be fun to create some of our own Disney Christmas decor when we get home. So, here are a few ideas to get started!
Disney Christmas Ideas
1. Disney's World of Color Christmas Tree
This tree was made by Irma Meji.
2. DIY Mickey Mouse Wreath
Made of red, green, and silver ornaments!
3. DIY Mickey and Minnie Christmas Ornaments
These are beautiful! Every Disney lover would want these.
4. Mickey & Minnie stockings for Christmas
How adorable…and easy to make too!
5. Mickey Mouse Christmas tree
Using Mickey hands, Mickey slippers, and a Mickey hat for a tree topper. Photo and treat creation by Scott Sayre.
6. DIY Felt Mickey Ornaments
Easy enough for kids to make!
7. Make a felt Christmas tree with Disney ornaments
This is a perfect craft for young kids! Well, I'd love to decorate this felt tree too (just sayin'). Toddlers can decorate this felt tree over and over without breaking any ornaments.
8. Mickey and Minnie no bake Oreo Christmas Cookies
These are actually easy to make and were inspired by a winter trip to Disney World (how fun!).
9. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Candy Apples
These are great anytime of year but particularly special during the holidays. They look easy enough to make!
10. DIY Disney ornaments!
I love the Donald Duck and Goofy ones. The source of these adorable ornaments are unknown, but it appears that they are made out of sparkly black, sparkly red, blue, purple, and gold ornaments. Add ribbons to some and add black felt ears to Goofy (as well as some green buttons). Paint the lower half of the Donald, Daisy, and Goofy ornaments. This would be such a fun activity with hot cocoa during the holidays!.
12. DIY Mickey Mouse Tree Topper
Make Disney ornaments with 2 small sparkly black ornaments and 1 large black ornament (as pictured). Glue a red ribbon on for Minnie. Use large styrofoam balls painted black and then covered with glitter spray paint for a big Minnie Mouse Christmas tree topper! (source unknown)
13. Mickey Mouse hot chocolate with homemade Mickey marshmallows
Perfect for a cozy Christmas morning. I love the tip for how they made the cookie cutter!
14. Grinch Cupcakes
Using chocolate cupcakes, with red, green, and white frosting. Add a white Sixlet candy to the top of the Santa hat, black icing eye brows, and yellow candy eyes. Source unknown.
15. Grinch pull apart cupcake cake
Source Unknown
15. Mickey Christmas Tree Topper
Here's how to make it: "It's just three Styrofoam balls spray-painted black and a Santa hat, with some red ribbon at the bottom to trail down the tree. The whole thing is held together with wooden barbecue skewers." (original source unknown)
16. Disney themed Christmas tree
Use colorful construction paper and place them on the tree. The branches keep them in place. So easy! (source unknown)
